When does my order ship?
We pack and ship from Denver Monday through Friday. Orders placed by 11 a.m. MT ship the same day; everything else goes out the next business morning. Standard ground delivery is 2–5 business days in the lower 48. We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or PO boxes — sorry.
How do I pause or cancel my subscription?
From your account dashboard, click "manage subscription." You can pause, skip the next shipment, change cadence, swap SKUs, or cancel — all from one screen. No phone calls, no chat bots, no confirmation emails to a third address. Changes made 48 hours before a scheduled charge are guaranteed to apply.
Are your products vegan? Gluten-free? Nut-free?
All bars and trail mixes are vegan. The Peanut + Honey bar contains honey and is not vegan. Bars and trail mixes are gluten-free; our facility is not a dedicated gluten-free facility, so we don't carry the certification. None of our products are nut-free — every SKU contains tree nuts and is produced in a facility that processes peanuts.
What's your return policy?
If you don't love it, email us. We'll refund or replace, no questions about the bag. We don't ask you to ship it back — food in transit isn't worth the carbon, and the math doesn't pencil for anyone. We'd rather you give the rest to a friend or compost it.
Where are the products actually made?
In our own 4,200 sq ft facility in north Denver, Colorado. Roasted, blended, pressed, wrapped, and shipped from one room. We don't co-pack. You're welcome to come visit — Tuesdays at 2 p.m. we run a small tour. Email us to reserve a spot.
Is the wrapper really compostable?
Yes — independently certified by BPI. It breaks down in 90 days in a commercial composter. Backyard composting is slower (about 9–12 months) but works. The story of how we got there took three years and is documented in the field notes.
Do you offer corporate gifting?
Yes — minimum order is 50 units, lead time 10 business days, and we can co-brand the kraft box with your logo. See the wholesale page for details and to start an application.
How do I become a stockist?
Visit our wholesale page and submit the application form. We read every one and respond within two business days. If we're a good fit we'll send a line sheet, a sample case, and an intro-call invite.
A bar in my pack crumbled. What happened?
Probably not heat — we test to 110°F. Most often it's pressure: a heavy pack on a long carry will eventually win. Stash the bar in a side pocket or near the top. If a whole sleeve shattered out of the box, email us a photo and we'll replace it.
Do you have a referral program?
We don't. We tried one in 2024 and shut it down — it turned the brand into a points game and made our best customers feel like sales reps. Instead, we give every order a free sample bar so you have something to hand a friend.
